Cameron M. Fernandez, Esq. – Founder
Cameron M. Fernandez graduated with High Honors from Santa Barbara College of Law in 2005. While attending law school, he worked full-time at the Law Offices of Shannon L. Fernandez. During law school, Cameron completed internships with Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Rogelio Flores, as well as the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office.
Cameron became a partner in the law firm Fernandez and Fernandez in 2007. Cameron is among a very select group of attorneys to achieve the status of a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and the Martindale Hubbel AV Preeminent award. Additionally, Cameron has been named to The National Trial Lawyers’ prestigious list of top 40 attorneys under 40 years of age and carries a Superb rating by Avvo. Simply put, Cameron is one of the most decorated family law attorneys in the state.
Cameron has developed a superb reputation amongst his peers and the judiciary for being an extremely bright and talented lawyer. Almost entirely by word of mouth, Cameron’s reputation has preceded him and Cameron is now highly sought after by clients who have assets and children to protect and who demand high- quality representation. Besides his dedication to the legal profession, Cameron is active at the community level as a volunteer coach. He has coached youth basketball and little league for the past several years. Cameron has also been a guest speaker at public outreach events, local bar association functions and on the radio. He is also a devout Christian and is a very active member of his church. Cameron has also accepted court appointments to serve as minor’s counsel in complex child custody cases.
Cameron has been married for over 18 years. He and his wife Rachael are the parents of 5 wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, surfing, traveling and playing basketball and baseball and serving in his church.
David N. Booth, Esq.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in history, David attended Chapman University School of Law in Orange County. While attending Chapman University School of Law David clerked for the 4th District Court of Utah and completed a two year internship with the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
David Graduated from Chapman University with honors in writing and immediately went to work for the Orange County Department of Child Support Services (DCSS). The experience David gained at the Department of Child Support Services gives him a decided advantage over most other attorneys he faces in child support cases. This specialized experience is a huge benefit to David’s clients with child support components to their cases. David left the Orange County DCSS to become a Deputy District Attorney where he prosecuted many cases successfully and honed his trial skills.
David eventually returned to his favorite area of practice, family law, and is now one of the most recognized and sought after, under age 40 attorneys in Orange County, David thrives in complex custody/visitation litigation and dissolution matters. David sets himself apart by his fierce work ethic, his fearlessness, and his personalized service to his clients. David is a recipient of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 Award and has been recognized for the past 3 years a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
David has been happily married for over 12 years now and is the father of four young children. David is an avid mountain biker. When David is not with his wife and children he is most likely in the mountains climbing the steepest and dustiest trails he can find.
Andrew Tran, Esq.
Andrew Tran was admitted to the California Bar in 2014. He has been exclusively practicing family law for the past 5 years now. Being a Northern California native, Andrew decided to move to Southern California to attend the University of California, Irvine where he initially majored in Biology. Shortly thereafter, Andrew found an affinity to the field of law and quickly changed his major to Criminal, Law, and Society, ultimately leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal, Law, and Society.
After attending UC Irvine, Andrew began his legal career by returning to Northern California where he worked as a law clerk at a Bankruptcy and Taxation law office and gained extensive experience in both fields of law.
Andrew returned to Southern California in order to pursue his legal education at Whittier Law School. There, he excelled in both his Family Law and Community Property law classes, and even became the runner-up in the highly competitive Susan E. McGuigan Oral Advocacy Competition for first-year law students. Andrew was also heavily involved in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and interned for a local family law practice located in Santa Ana.
After obtaining his Juris Doctorate, Andrew volunteered for the Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic in the Superior Court located in Chula Vista, California while studying for the California State Bar. He worked on a pro-bono basis helping those in need with their domestic violence disputes. While awaiting his bar results, Andrew worked as a law clerk for a prominent family law firm in downtown San Diego known as Hargreaves & Taylor, LLP. During his time at Hargreaves & Taylor, LLP, he assisted with trials and overall legal strategy. Upon passing the bar in February 2014, Andrew worked for various family law firms in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Diego County where he gained extensive family law experience.
Andrew has experience with all areas of family law, including dissolution of marriage, mediation, legal separation, child custody and visitation, grandparent visitation, move-away requests, child and spousal support, support arrears, domestic violence restraining orders, and post-judgment modifications.
Andrew is considered by both his peers and his clients to be a compassionate advocate. He takes a reasonable and cost-efficient approach to all of his cases as he is sensitive to his client’s financial needs but, at the same time, not sacrificing the quality of his legal services.
In his off time, Andrew enjoys the outdoors, especially going to the beach with his wife and friends. He lives a very active and healthy lifestyle and frequents the gym on a regular basis.
Daniel McCammon, Esq.
Daniel McCammon is a certified family law specialist & also one of our senior family law attorneys in the firm. He has practiced in Orange County, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire courts for the past 10 years. He started his career in family law building a state-wide firm and later worked for one of the most prestigious family law firms in Southern California.
His interest in family law started at the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University when he took a course in family law and domestic violence clinic. During his time in law school, He represented a number of victims of abuse whose lives were horrifically impacted by the emotional and physical abuse of their significant others. It was very satisfying for him to aid these victims in the long-term healing process that they started by obtaining protection. Prior to law school, Daniel attended Brigham Young University and interned for a United states Congressman.
He is passionate about family law and spends significant time keeping up to date with updates in the law and case precedent. He regularly attends legal education courses and connects with forensic accountants, therapists, custody evaluators, certified divorce financial analysts, real estate agents, and attorneys in different fields to ensure that his clients can get through their divorce matter and obtain the fresh start in life they deserve.
He takes a proactive approach to each one of his cases by providing each client a thorough understanding of their legal options, so that each one of his clients are empowered to make informed choices to reach their goals.
It is also important for him to give back to the community, whether volunteering for veteran organizations or domestic violence clinics. It is one of his goals to make this world a better place, both for his clients and the local community.
When he is not in the office, he spends most of his time with his wife and two children. He loves to travel in and outside of California. He also enjoys cooking, going to concerts, supporting the Dodgers and Lakers, eating at Michelin restaurants, and spending time with his friends.
Greyson Morain, Esq.
After growing up in Templeton, Greyson graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to attend Western State College of Law in Irvine, California, where he graduated summa cum laude in May of 2018. At commencement, Greyson received the Wallace R. Davis award – an award given to an individual for exemplary work in their community. Greyson was a member of law review, belonged to various clubs where he held leadership positions, worked as a law clerk at one of Irvine’s top boutique law firms, and was the research assistant to his United States Supreme Court cited professor.
Greyson has argued cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Immigration Court, and various State Courts in California. Greyson has worked in various areas of law as an independent contractor. He has had the privilege to work alongside various, experienced attorneys and continues to develop these important connections that allow him to gain knowledge that is learned through experience.
Ultimately, Greyson has settled in the area of family law. His background in different areas of law provides a unique perspective to family law cases and gives consideration to specific consequences of family law dispositions that may not be considered in most circumstances.
Greyson returned to San Luis Obispo County to raise a family with his wife in the area where he grew up. He enjoys camping, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Megan A. Marsh, Esq.
Born and raised on the Central Coast, Megan received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, from the University of California, Berkeley. She was a member of the women’s water polo program during her time at Cal. As the undergraduate assistant her senior season, Megan was part of the Golden Bears third place NCAA finish.
After graduating, Megan started her legal studies at Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C. before transferring to California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. At both institutions, Megan was heavily involved in several associations on campus including Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, Student Bar Association and Entertainment and Sports Law Society. During law school, Megan volunteered with Legal Aid Society helping tenants with unlawful detainers.
Megan is happy to be back on the Central Coast to help families get through this difficult time. Megan works from a position of compassionate advocacy.
When Megan is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Megan is an avid sports fan and spends much of her free time cheering on the San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
