Pre-Nuptial Agreements
Sometimes a person contemplating marriage needs a pre-nuptial agreement in order to protect the assets and income they are bringing into the marriage. In order to preserve that which one has worked so hard to acquire, it is essential for certain people to have written agreements with either a future spouse or co-habitant.
Similarly, some people find that after they are married to one another, they wish to enter into an enforceable written contract concerning property rights and rights to future spousal support, should their marriage end in an unfortunate divorce or separation. These types of agreements are called post-nuptial agreements.
At the Law Office of Cameron M. Fernandez, we have experience drafting both types of agreements. Our knowledge of certain disclosure and legal advice requirements have resulted in successful agreements that benefit our clients.
